This extra virgin olive oil comes from Koroneiki Variety - the queen of Greek varieties. The olive oil is made from the world famous Kalamata olives in the region of Messinia Greece. The exellent climatic conditions of Messinia, the sunlight, the small lots that allow each grower to groom every single olive tree with great love and care and pick its fruit at the right level of ripeness, are some of the key factors that yield extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality. It has a rich aroma, spicy and fruity flavor and acidity rated 0,2%-0,4%. It is also a great biological and farmaceutical value, due to its rich content of vitamins A and E and the ideal ratio of vitamin E and linoleic acid.
