FAQ – Arto Bakery
Answers to the questions we get most often about ordering sourdough bread and pastries from Arto Bakery in Dubai. Anything else: info@arto.ae or +971 4 257 4889.
Where is Arto Bakery?
Arto Bakery is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are a delivery-only bakery — there is no shop or café to visit. Everything is ordered online and delivered to your door.
How do I order?
Order on arto.ae or in the Arto app (iPhone / Android). You pick your delivery slot at checkout.
What is the order cut-off for next-morning delivery?
10:00 pm. Orders placed by 10 pm are baked overnight and delivered the next morning. Orders after 10 pm go out the morning after.
When do you deliver?
Every morning between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm. You choose a slot at checkout and we deliver within it.
Where do you deliver and what does it cost?
Across Dubai and selected surrounding areas; other emirates on request. The delivery fee depends on the emirate and is shown at checkout before you pay. For Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or bulk orders, email info@arto.ae.
Is Arto sourdough real sourdough?
Yes. Our bread is leavened only with our own wild sourdough starter — no commercial yeast, no bread improvers, no added acids, no preservatives. The ingredients are flour, water, salt and starter.
What flour do you use?
Organic Italian sprouted wheat flour and organic Italian stone-milled wholewheat flour, bought directly from the producers in Italy.
How long is the bread fermented?
The Organic Country Sourdough Loaf ferments for 30 hours before it is baked. Long fermentation develops the flavour and breaks down part of the gluten and starch, which is why many people find sourdough easier to digest.
Is your bread gluten-free?
No. Our sourdough is made from wheat and contains gluten. Long fermentation makes it gentler on digestion for some people, but it is not suitable for coeliacs.
Can I get the loaf sliced?
Yes. Choose "Sliced" on the product page and it arrives sliced.
How should I store the bread?
At room temperature in a paper or linen bread bag for 2–3 days, cut side down. For longer, slice and freeze; toast slices straight from the freezer. Do not keep it in the fridge or in a sealed plastic bag.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes — you can set up regular deliveries on the days you choose. To skip or pause a delivery, let us know at least 48 hours before the next scheduled drop.
Do you supply cafés, hotels and offices?
Yes. Arto supplies sourdough bread and pastries wholesale to hotels, cafés, restaurants and corporate kitchens in the UAE. See Wholesale or email info@arto.ae.
Is Arto Bakery the same as Arto Café?
No. Arto Bakery (Arto Fabrica Baker Co. LLC, arto.ae) is an independent sourdough bakery and is not connected to Arto Café in Dubai Mall or any other business called Arto.
